Nauset Disposal will host its annual community fundraiser, Trash Bash, on Friday, October 18. The event will be held at Nauset Disposal, 3 Rayber Road, in Orleans. Proceeds from this event will benefit several local non-profit organizations: Cape Cod Cares for the Troops, Cape & Islands United Way, Center for Coastal Studies, Community Development Partnership, WE CAN and Wild Care. Attendees are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations, benefiting the Lower Cape Outreach Council. Trash Bash will begin at 5:30PM and features live music with the Grab Brothers and DJ Trev, dinner donated by several local restaurants, beer and wine, door prizes and more. Pre-sale tickets purchased prior to September 30 are $25 each and are available online at www.nausetdisposal.com/trash-bash-2019. Tickets will increase to $30 each on October 1, and will be available online or at the door. Admission includes food and drink tickets, as well as an opportunity to win one of ten high value door prizes. Owner of Nauset Disposal, Shawn DeLude, commented, “The volunteer groups and nonprofit organizations on Cape Cod do so much to help the communities we’re all a part of, but they can’t do it alone. As a community-minded local business, we feel we have a responsibility to contribute to the common good. I’d like to thank our customers, sponsors and supporters of Nauset Disposal and our annual Trash Bash in helping us find a fun way to give back to our community. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and having a successful evening with all of our friends.” This event would not be possible without the generous support and participation of many local businesses.
