Marine Mammal Strandings - Rescue and Research by IFAW's Brian Sharp

We welcome Director of IFAW’s Marine Mammal Rescue Team Brian Sharp, who will give an informative presentation about marine mammal strandings, on and around Cape Cod. IFAW’s team not only leads rescues but conducts on-going research to ensure the safety and preservation of the creatures that make the sea their home. Brian Sharp has rescued 15 manatees, 35 sea turtles, 40 large whales and countless dolphins and porpoises. As a permitted Level 5 Responder, he is one of the few rescue professionals authorized by NOAA to disentangle whales within American waters. Don't miss this important and informative discussion!
