Marine Animal Medical Mystery 1:00 – 2:00 pm daily What does it take to be a marine animal care technician? What are some of the questions and “mysteries” involved in wildlife rehabilitation? Each day, using models, we'll learn how to care for a different animal (see website for themes). Best suited for ages 8-14. Program lasts 45-60 minutes. Cost: Members $3/child/program; Non-members $5/child/program Engineering Design Challenge: Animal Prosthetics 3:00 – 4:00 pm daily How do you help an animal with an injured or missing limb? What can you do for a turtle with a damaged leg or shell? Discover how technology is being used to help disabled animals, and then complete an engineering challenge to design your own prosthetic device for a marine animal. Best suited for ages 8-14. Program lasts 45-60 minutes. Cost: Members $3/child/program; Non-members $5/child/program.
