Association of BellTel Retirees Virtual Mini-Meeting

The Association of BellTel Retirees is excited and privileged to welcome you to our first virtual mini-meeting, and we are inviting everyone in and around Massachusetts to participate on July 15th. Do you have concerns about your retirement? Wondering what's going on with your pension, annuity, or healthcare benefits? Curious about what the Association has been up to? Want to reconnect with old friends and meet new people? ABTR Board members will discuss issues important to all of us and our retirement future, followed by an informal Q&A session. Among items to be addressed: • The GREAT 2020 Proxy Showing • The prospects of hosting in-person meetings in 2020 • Pension protection-past and present • What is pension de-risking (aka: pension stripping) and why is it likely to expand? • Health Benefits • Shareholder Proxy proposals • Sickness/Death Benefit ...and MORE! This is YOUR organization working to protect YOUR earned retirement benefits and we need to hear from YOU! Please feel free to have family, friends and “retiree cousins” participate in this meeting if they are from the area. Our number one priority is your health and wellbeing. We cannot ask our members to gather inside a room with other people at this point. Zoom gives us the best opportunity to meet, without having to put our collective health in danger.
