22nd Annual Independence House Domestic Violence Awareness Month Community Breakfast Program

Please join Independence House and the community for this FREE signature event that will deliver significant and relevant educational information on the topics of domestic violence. Attendees of the breakfast program will learn about domestic violence and its effects on individuals and the community. Each person will experience what it is like to face domestic violence from a survivors view; and take away relevant information that will include next steps on how the community, including individual community members can respond to victims/survivors of domestic violence and their children, and act in contributing to the end of domestic violence in our community.

Guest Keynote Speakers include:
Leslie Morgan Steiner, New York Times best-selling author, former Washington Post columnist, thought leader on women's issues, consultant, regular national radio and television guest speaker, corporate executive, and domestic violence survivor.
