Derby de Mayo Bash at Red Jacket Resort
5pm – 9pm, the Red Jacket Beach Resort will host a Derby de Mayo Bash. Hyannis Public Library and the First Baptist Church of Hyannis are joining together to co-sponsor a concert, Rhapsody in Blue, with widely acclaimed pianist Paul Bisaccia on Sunday, May 20th at 3:00 at the Baptist Church. Tickets are $25 and can be attained by buying them at the library. Paul has quite a following and many of his concerts have sold out. He will be playing mainly Gershwin songs. Join runners, walkers, and animal-lovers in a 5K run/walk to raise money for the National Marine Life Center! This is a family oriented event. The race begins at the Buzzards Bay Village Park, at the west end of Main Street next to the train station. The flat, scenic course travels down and back along the beautiful Cape Cod Canal. Ample parking is available. There will be two water stations along the route. The race will be timed.
